Support Iraq Body Count with a donation
If you think IBC’s work recording Iraqi casualties is important, please donate to our running costs.
The monthly death toll in Iraq has more than doubled over the last 12 months. In March 2013 we recorded 403 deaths due to violence. In March 2014 we recorded 1009.
We urgently need your help to:
- keep up with our reporting of the rising violent death toll in Iraq
- broaden and deepen the detailed coverage and analysis we can offer
- keep awareness of Iraqi casualties in the public eye
A regular monthly donation is the best way to support our work. With regular donations we can better plan how to develop as well as maintain IBC's record of Iraqi casualties.
All donations help IBC to record Iraqi casualties and keep them in the public eye.
Why we need your donations
Iraq Body Count (IBC) is the only publicly-accessible project that is systematically and transparently recording Iraqi deaths on an ongoing basis. We have six members of staff and need to hire more to keep up with the recently increased levels of violence in Iraq, and improve and extend our work. In addition we have running costs, including our web-servers and subscriptions to media databases.
