Shezad Hussein Ali al‑Jabari or Sharzad Hassan

In the ethnically divided northern oil centre of Kirkuk, a member of one of the two main Kurdish parties - the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan - was also shot dead in his car this morning, police there said.

Colonel Sarhad Kader named the victim as Shezad Hussein Ali al-Jabari, 28, who he said had been on his way back from visiting relatives.
