Also on 9 February, Dler Karam Ali, a Kurdish journalist working for the Al-Ittihad Al-Isalmi and Al-Ofoq Al-Islami newspapers was shot and injured by US forces on the road between Baghdad and Darbandikhan in Northern Iraq.
